PART 3: Online Tea Ritual

All the wishes, the efforts, the intentions, the performances, the creations … from part 1 and 2 came together in the third and final part of the project To Mould a Better Future Together.

Iris Carta performed special online tea rituals to pass on all the collected wishes for a better future. Each participant met the performer one on one in a virtual tea room.

Due to the pandemic we were forced to think about a valuable and corona proof way to bring this ritual to the participants. As online meetings became quite common in the way we worked during the covid pandemic , we decided to utilise the online digital means as an opportunity to create differently and not as a replacement of live performances. And so we created a different kind of tea ritual in a virtual environment.
